Summary

Qualified homeowners can receive over $5,000 toward the cost of qualifying energy upgrades to a home’s insulation or heating system. Homeowners may work with a qualified contractor to select upgrades from a menu of eligible measures. Incentives from Efficiency Maine’s Home Energy Savings Program (HESP) help offset the cost of air sealing, insulation, heat pumps, geothermal heat pumps, and biomass boilers and furnaces.
